ACM India OCCW 2025 Award
Prof. S. Krishna from IIT Bombay is the recipient of the ACM India Outstanding Contributions in Computing by a Woman (OCCW) award for 2025. She is being recognized “for making outstanding contributions towards the twin prongs of science/technology and mentoring/outreach. Scientifically, she is known for her seminal contributions to the area of formal methods, especially to the theory of transducers and in the verification of concurrent programs.” In outreach, Krishna has shown unwavering dedication and undertaken significant efforts, such as regularly running training programs for high school girls, serving on her institute gender cell and complaints committee,and more.
